offers

Bobby Hart is not your average teenager.
St. Thomas Aquinas is not your average
high school. Hart attracts attention
everywhere he goes with his 6’5", 283
pound frame. Most high schools may have
a teacher coaching the WR's, Aquinas has
former Pro Bowler Cris Carter. It’s safe
to say, the two are a pretty good match.
He may not look average, but Hart
normally likes to hang out in his free
time.
“I like to chill, hang with teammates,
talk to girls.” Hart said with a laugh.
“I listen to everything from Lil Wayne
to Michael Jackson.”
Though Hart has not played a down at
Aquinas yet, he can already tell that
St. Thomas Aquinas is more than just
your typical high school.
“I haven’t played at St. Thomas yet, but
I can tell you already it’s different
just from workouts.” Hart said. “It’s
advantage is they get you ready for
college.”
Get you ready for college Aquinas does.
They had four prospect’s in ThaRinger’s
Final Top 500 for the class of 2010.
Hart is just the latest marquee prospect
to step foot on the Fort Lauderdale
campus.
“Right now I’m 6'5, 283 (pounds), I run
a 5.7 forty, 4.93 shuttle, and 30'
vertical.” Hart said. “I project at
tackle. I love being on the island with
the D End.
“My favorite is run blocking. The
offense depends on you. My passing
blocking (is his best attribute)."
On the recruiting front, it’s early but
Hart already boasts offers from across
the Southeast, and also lists a few
programs that are close to offering.
“(Offers from) Florida State, Georgia,
Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Duke, South
Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, UNC, NC
State, FIU, Georgia Tech,” He said.
“Close to offering are LSU, Florida,
Miami, Alabama."
“I really want offers from those four
and Oklahoma.”
What is Hart looking for in his perfect
school?
“Academics, tradition, coaching, and
playing time.” Hart listed.
Hart also described what makes him such
an intriguing prospect.
“I’m a great kid with great academics,
so you don’t have to worry about me
getting in school or with the tests.” He
described. “I just have that go get it
attitude that Miami seems to have, so
you never have to worry about me
quitting at all. I’m a coach friendly
kid who won’t talk back and I understand
that the coach has my best interests at
heart.”
Hart says he plans to play in either the
Army All American Game or the Under
Armour.
He comes in at #37 in TR’s 2011 watch
list for the state of Florida, and
projects as a four star prospect.
